You can taste that this isn't the same as regular honey. I recommend this.

I gave 5 stars because nothing is wrong with this product or the price!! However, I do want to mention that if you prefer a real honey taste ( like more local honey) this will not be the best choice. It very much taste like restaurant single pack honey. But, for the product itself it's great for bulk amount at a decent price :)

This raw manuka honey from Activist is high quality. It contains 8.8 oz of 850+ MGO which is roughly equivalent to 20+ UMF ratings which are also common for measuring the strength and potency of manuka honey. It tastes good and the price is comparable for that rating even for a very similar product at Costco. The jar is very well made and won't fall apart from getting dropped. The honey tastes phenomenal and manuka honey is known for its multiple benefits, such as for digestion and helping with sore throats when sick. I have used it a few times for a sore throat and it worked well. I really like the taste and while it is expensive, you get what you pay for!. I think it is a good value.

I love honey and trying different kinds/flavors, so this really got my interest. It is a thick honey that is easier to scoop out than try to pour. The flavor is very flowery and intensely sweet, very noticeably different than clover honey. You also need much less of it in your tea to sweeten it and add flavor. I enjoy the taste of this manuka honey. It looks slightly gritty in the plastic jar, but it tastes completely smooth. It also tastes less medicinal than the higher rated manuka honeys I’ve tried. Which is a plus because my kids actually enjoy it. I love that it provides a natural remedy for sore throats and coughs. I think the price is a little high for the rating of 300 MGO.

The flavor of this honey is very strong, and different than I'm used to. It seems to be a good quality product but I just didn't love the taste, was a bit more medicinal than regular honey. I like that it has so many benefits, so I am taking it more like a supplement rather than a food additive or sweetener.
